Large mould projects:

Unleash your goddess or the untamed lion!

Cast your goddess or Leo mould, set the mood with your chosen colours, pattern and background, and start adding some personality by using more moulds and painting it in!

As a base you can choose from a canvas, a shaped piece of wood, a shadowbox or a vase. You can also bring your own piece to liven up. Think a flower pot, jug or teapot, or a frame that fits around the mould (the length of these moulds is about 15 cm or 6 inches).

Embellish your project & background with decoupage, stencils, textured shapes, stamps, and other moulds (e.g. flowers, butterflies, love hearts, scrolls or borders). It is entirely up to you and there will be expert coaching to help you.

PATCHWORK DECOUPAGE

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to transform everyday objects laying decoupage as a patchwork.

We’ll show you how to prep the surface, then build up layers of pattern, colour and texture using a wide range of decoupage papers, and how to create a balanced (or intentionally unbalanced) final design.

Finally  we’ll  show you how to tie it all together using paint colours before sealing your final piece.

You’ll be guided through:

  • selecting and combining papers that work well together and fit your project

  • planning your layout before committing (no panic-gluing)

  • layering techniques for a durable, high-quality finish

  • sealing and protecting your piece so it lasts

You’re welcome to bring your own item to embellish – charity shops are ideal for sourcing flat or simple pieces. Picture frames, mirrors, trays and small furniture works particularly well, but many other objects are suitable too.

All materials and tools are provided. No prior experience is needed – this workshop is suitable for beginners as well as those who’ve decoupaged before and want to refine their technique or have access to a larger selection of materials.

Alongside being creative and fun, the process is surprisingly calming and focused. You’ll leave with a unique, finished piece and the confidence to carry on decoupaging at home while feeling totally zen as a bonus!

Spirit Board

This is wonderful to create for yourself, even better as a gift for someone that’s close to you. It could also be a theme for a business or event (birth, marriage, holiday or new shop/anniversary).

Decorate the background in relation to the theme and then add anything that shows what the person or event is about. Interests, moods, colours, hobbies, related nick-nacks, favourite foods, flowers, travel, music, things in common – the options are endless.

You can also make it more practical: Check out the examples of the jewellery displays. This is what they mean by functional art!

All materials provided, plus whatever personal items you want to add on to the board (e.g. statues, small plants, pictures).

Price: £60 – £90 depending on the size of the project, number of participants and materials used.
